C plus C is the online magazine created in 2025 by the School for Curatorial Studies Venice. The editorial project took shape during the writing workshop led by Arianna Testino, art historian and journalist. Its aim is to provide a mapping of the contemporary art scene, narrated through people, events, and places from a curatorial perspective and with a critical approach. From national and international exhibitions to emerging realities, each topic is explored in depth. The magazine is designed both for professionals in the field and for students and enthusiasts who wish to stay updated on the latest trends and developments in today’s art landscape. The project gathers contributions from all students of the School for Curatorial Studies Venice — past, present, and future.
School for Curatorial Studies Venice is a curatorial training center founded in Venice in 2004 by Aurora Fonda and Sandro Pignotti. Each year, its educational program brings together international students and researchers for an experimental course featuring meetings with artists, exhibition visits, and lectures by professionals from the contemporary art scene. Every edition concludes with an exhibition curated by the participants in Venice. Since 2004, the School for Curatorial Studies Venice has welcomed students from over 50 countries, establishing the program as a key reference in global curatorial education. Experimentation and exploration of the most significant artistic figures in the contemporary scene form the foundation of the school’s exhibition projects.
